Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese

Since 2005 John Hempenstall of Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese has been making distinctive, award winning Irish cheeses. Initially starting as a supplementary income for his dairy farm, Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese has grown from strength to strength winning a multitude of national and international awards and is now sold across Ireland and into Europe.

John’s attention to detail is key to the success of his cheeses, from the care he takes to his dairy cattle that supply the milk he uses in his cheeses, to his own design custom made equipment, through to the packaging process every step has the finished product in mind. If you asked John the secret to his success he’d probably tell you that it’s simply the mixture of lush Wicklow grazing grass and the salty sea air that gives his cheese its own unique flavor.  Since his Daughter Mary has joined the family business they have enjoyed further success winning the prestigious Best Soft White Cheese for the Wicklow Bán in the British Cheese Awards in Nantwich UK 2015.

Cathy's Spelt for Health

Cathy has done the hard work and put her recipes into a bag so the customer can have freshly baked spelt scones, flapjacks and breads in no time at all.

The good thing about all Cathy’s Spelt baking mixes is that they are delicious, and suitable for everyone especially those whom are Wheat Intolerent as Spelt is gentle on the digestive system.

Paul Walshe founded Sunshine Juice in 1998, after taking a trip to the USA, it left him longing for freshly squeezed juice.

He convinced his dad to let him convert the old family milking parlour and Sunshine Juice was born.

Walshe’s Products have won more than 19 great taste awards and 6 Blas na hEireann awards over the past number of years.

Paul started just squeezing orange juice and when he had this perfected Sunshine Juice expanded into squeezing and pressing other fruit juices, smoothies and fresh fruit salads!

An award winning member of the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland, Murphy’s meats are highly appreciated in the locality and they’re keen to make sure that customers enjoy them at their best - notably on their informative website, which includes a practical ‘handy meat guide’ and a recipe video made with Neven Maguire.

McCabe's Hand Roasted Coffee

McCabe's are proudly one of the original coffee roasters in Ireland, passing the craft from one generation to the next. Stephen McCabe apprenticed under his father and developed the skill and subtle intricacies of coffee roasting to deliver unique, delicious blends.

Organic Delights

We order all of our Organic fruit and vegetables on a weekly basis. Orders depend on what is in season at the time of delievery. Our team of talented chefs produce menus around the products that are in season. We mostly use these Organic products in our freshly made salads. These are really bursting with flavour, colour and packed with goodness! We at The MerryTree have put alot of effort into our organic salad selection and it has grown from strenght to strenght since teaming up with Organic Delights. We are excited to continue our Organic journey well into the future, providing you, the customer with only the best.

Kavanagh Meats supply only the finest quality grass fed beef, sourced from the same producer group of farmers and sons which has continued from one generation to the next. 

Wexford is known as the model county due partly to its mild climate and number of sunshine hours it gets compared to the rest of Ireland. All this helps contribute to some of the best grass growth in Europe and hence fantastic feed for the cattle they process.
